Stampin’ Up! Christmas Sweaters with Stampin’ Blends!

I used the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Sweaters stamp set along with the new Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers (only available to Demonstrators right now) to create a fun Christmas card to share with you today.

I started by adhering a panel from the Christmas Around the World DSP to an Old Olive card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the images and sentiment from the Christmas Sweaters stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

I used the Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Pool Party, Smoky Slate Daffodil Delight, Pink Pirouette, Color Lifter and Ivory Stampin’ Blends Markers (only available to Demonstrators right now) to color the sweater images.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock with SNAIL, then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel and tied a bow.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Hearts Come Home stamp set in Old Olive ink and the sweater from the Christmas Sweaters stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.

World Card Making Day Sale – 15% Off Select Items Oct 1-10!

***Stampin’ Up! shared the following update yesterday:

Fast Fuse Offer No Longer Available at this Time

As part of our planned World Card Making Day offer October 1-10, we offered two free Fast Fuse Refills with every purchase of a Fast Fuse Adhesive. This offer was much more popular than we anticipated, and Fast Fuse has since gone on backorder so we will no longer be offering this promotion in North America.

We will bring back the same offer on Fast Fuse for five days within the next few months, after we’re confident we have sufficient Fast Fuse in stock (this five-day offer will be in North America only). In the meantime, we apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding!

World Card Making Day is a day dedicated to doing what you love most—making handmade cards! It celebrates the creativity and personal connection handmade cards create between loved ones.

This year the world celebrates the day on October 7, but one day wasn’t enough for Stampin’ Up!.  For ten days (October 1–10), you get 15% off Notecards & Envelopes and select stamp sets.  These items will help you celebrate the best hobby of all—cardmaking!

  1. Love how you colored the sweaters – that stamp set is on my wishlist but I hadn’t bought it (yet) … might have to break down and get it soon! 🙂 My blends are on the way … I hemmed and hawed over which colors to get, and then just got the whole bundle 😀
