I used the Stampin’ Up! Merry Patterns host exclusive stamp set to create a quick Christmas card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #308.

I started by adhering a panel from the Merry Little Christmas DSP to an Old Olive card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I wrapped a strand of Real Red 1/8″ Solid Ribbon around the card front twice and tied a small bow.

I stamped the candle image from the Merry Patterns photopolymer stamp set (host exclusive – ending Oct 31) in Basic Black Archival ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I inked one of the candle images from the Merry Patterns stamp set in Real Red ink and stamped it over the candle outline image.  I inked the second candle image from the Merry Patterns stamp set in Real Red ink and stamped it on scrap paper once then then stamped it over the candle outline image.  I added the flames image and the greens in Daffodil Delight and Old Olive inks on the panel.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Merry Patterns stamp set in Basic Black ink on strip of Whisper White card stock and cut it out with the banner from the Popcorn Box Thinlits Dies.  I adhered the banner to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then cut a snowflake from Champagne Foil Sheets with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits die and adhere it with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Good Tidings photopolymer stamp set in Basic Black ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, then added a few branches from the Merry Patterns stamp set in Old Olive ink to finish the inside of the card.
