I used the Stampin’ Up! Petal Palette stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2018 Occasions Catalog to create a thank you card to share with you today.
My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #314.
My card was also inspired by Tic Tac Toe Challenge #tttc025. I went down the right side.
The theme for my card was inspired by CAS-ual Friday CFC187.
I started by adhering a panel from the Petal Passion DSP (available Jan 3) to a panel of Pink Pirouette card stock with SNAIL. Then I adhered the layered panel to a Basic Black card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut a panel of Pink Pirouette card stock with the Petals & More Thinlits Dies (available Jan 3) and adhered the die cut to the card front with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut a circle from Whisper White card stock with a Stitched Shapes Framelits die and adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.
I stamped the sentiment, flower and bird images from the Petal Palette stamp set (available Jan 3) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I colored the images with the light and dark Old Olive, Pink Pirouette and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut the images and sentiment out with the coordinating dies from the Petals & More Thinlits Dies set.
I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the sentiment die cut several times and tied a small bow. Then I adhered the flower die cut with SNAIL and the sentiment and bird die cuts to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment to finish the card front.
I inked the dot image and the bird image from the Petal Palette stamp set in Tuxedo Black and Pink Pirouette inks, stamped them on scrap paper and then stamped them on a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.
