Stampin’ Up! Party Pandas Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Party Pandas stamp set from the upcoming 2018 Sale-a-bration Brochure to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I created for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week.

I started by adhering panels of Tutti-frutti 6″ x 6″ DSP (available Jan 3) and Birthday Memories DSP to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twine around the panel three times and tied a bow, then adhered the panel to a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Party Pandas stamp set (Sale-a-bration exclusive stamp set available Jan 3) in Real Red ink on a strip of Whisper White card stock.  I punched the sentiment strip with the Banner Triple Punch as well as Real Red and Basic Black card stock strip and then adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the Party Pandas image in Basic Black ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and cut it out with a Layering Circles Framelits die.  I adhered the die cut circle to a circle cut from Basic Black card stock with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Real Red enamel dot from the Brights Enamel Shapes pack and two Black Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the panda.

I punched a 3/4″ Circle from Real Red card stock and I adhered one of the Balloon Honeycomb Embellishments to it.  I adhered the balloon to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Birthday Delivery photopolymer stamp set in Real Red ink and a panda image from the Party Pandas stamp set in Basic Black ink on a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.  I colored the panda’s hat with a Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker to finish the inside.

  1. I swear (well, I don’t really) that this is one of the cutest cards you’ve made. So glad I ordered this set…it’ll be coming in a few days, woo hoo! I WILL be CASEing!!

  2. All the elements of this card from the color palette to the layout to the choice of stamp set just works so beautifully together. I love the little balloon, it’s the perfect cherry on top. Awesome job Amy

  3. YEP, gotta get the panda’s! I will have a good selection of little animals, pigs, puppies, kitties just to name a few. Great job with all the elements, really appreciate the sneak peeks. TFS.
