Stampin’ Up! Picture Perfect Birthday for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “Birthday” theme and I’m featuring the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set and Picture Perfect Party DSP  for my project.

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #371.

I started by cutting up a panel of Picture Perfect Party 6″ x 6″ DSP.  I adhered the DSP panels to panels of Basic Black card stock and then to a Bermuda Bay card base with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Picture Perfect Birthday photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Lemon Lime Twist card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I cut the sentiment out with a Layering Ovals Framelits Die and then adhered it with SNAIL to an oval cut from Basic Black card stock with a Stitched Shapes Framelits Die.  I adhered the layered ovals with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the DSP panel.  I cut a banner from the Picture Perfect Party DSP with a die from the Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies and I adhered it to the oval die cuts with SNAIL.

I cut the “you” sentiment from Silver Foil Sheets with a Celebrate You Thinlits Die and I adhered it with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue over the die cut banner.  I added three glitter dots from the Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and bow images from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set in Bermuda Bay & Pool Party inks on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

  1. At first I didn’t think I’d like this paper but the things I’ve seen you do with it make it makes it to my Wish List. Amazing card!!

  2. I never know what to do with the photo realistic papers but you make it look easy! This is a great use of it. Perfect birthday card! Thanks for the good ideas and the paper cuts.

  3. Amy- what a great way to show off that “bow paper!” I always enjoy what you have to share. Plus, it was a privilege to meet you in Utah in Nov. 😊
