Stampin Up! Blossoming Basket Birthday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Blossoming Basket stamp set bundle and the Basket of Wishes stamp set to create a birthday card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #283.

And the products that I used on my card were inspire by TGIF Challenge 147.

I started by stamping the little heart image from the Heart Happiness photopolymer stamp set in Pink Pirouette ink across the front of a Thick Whisper White card base.  Then I embossed a panel of Pool Party card stock with the Basket Weave Embossing Folder (Sale-a-bration item) and I adhered it to a slightly larger panel of Pool Party card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the basket image from the Blossoming Basket stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) on a panel of Whisper White card stock in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then colored it with the Light and Dark Pool Party, Old Olive and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I went back and added just a touch of Pink Pirouette to the flower petals with the Light Pink Pirouette Stampin’ Blends Marker and I colored the flower centers with the Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I colored the more rounded leaf images with Light Old Olive and Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends.

Then I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow, then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Basket of Wishes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a strip of Whisper White card stock and punched both ends with the Banner Triple Punch.

I punched a narrow strip of Pink Pirouette card stock with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered it to the back of the sentiment banner with SNAIL, then adhered the layered banner to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added one of the light blue Glitter Enamel Dots next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Picture Perfect Birthday photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, then added the heart images from the Heart Happiness stamp set in Pink Pirouette ink to finish the inside of the card.
