Stampin’ Up! Epic Celebrations You are Amazing Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Epic Celebrations stamp set to create a fun card to share with you today.  I know that many of us struggle with cards for the teen/tween boys in our lives and this stamp set has awesome images for those types of cards!

My card design was inspired by As You See It #170.

I started by inking the dot image from the Epic Celebrations stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Basic Gray ink, stamping it on scrap paper and then stamping it across the front of a Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes card base (Sale-a-bration item).  Then I cut a panel of the Bubbles & Fizz DSP (Sale-a-bration item) with a Layering Squares Framelits die and then adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.

I folded a piece of the Basic Gray ribbon from the Shimmer Ribbon Pack (Sale-a-bration item) in half and adhered it together and then to the card front with SNAIL.  I stamped the shoe image from the Epic Celebations stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored it with the Light and Dark Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I used the Color Lifter to remove a little of the color on the shoe tags and inside.

I stamped the sentiment from the Yay You photopolymer stamp set (host exclusive) in Lemon Lime Twist ink under the shoes and then cut around it with on of the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.  I adhered the die cut circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added three of the Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes to finish the card front.

I stamped the shoe image from the Epic Celebrations stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Bermuda Bay card stock and then to the inside of the card with SNAIL to finish it.

    • Thank you Sandi! I love that pack of cards & envelopes…double bonus that they’re free!! 🙂

  1. Nice card, Amy, in spite of the color. Probably a teen would like it. You are right, there is a dearth of items to make cards for teens, or tweens, especially boys. SU needs to get on the ball.

  2. Perfect little image for this sketch….and great colors too! Love how you stamped the sneaker on the inside, perfect! Thanks for sharing this with us at As You See It!

  3. I think it’s a perfect card for the intended recipient – and I like it too! That sneaker image – well, I never thought it was me… until I started playing with it. Love how you’ve coloured them. You’ve used the sketch so well. Thank you for joining us at As You See It this week, Amy.

  4. Amy, I love the up-beat feel of this card with the bright colours and young images! Thanks for playing along with AsYou See It Challenge!
