Stampin’ Up! Lilypad Lake Sneak Peek for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Lilypad Lake stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2018-19 Annual Catalog to create my card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC177.  Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps blog to see what the other design team members created and to play along too!

I started by cutting a panel of Soft Sea Foam card stock (available June 1) twice with the die from the Lakeside Framelits Dies (available June 1).  I adhered the die cut card stock to a panel of Bluberry Bushel card stock (available June 1) with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the sun outline image from the Lilypad Lake stamp set in Call Me Clover ink (available May 1) on a panel or Shaded Spruce card stock (available June 1) and then adhered the card stock to the top of the Blueberry Bushel card stock panel with SNAIL.

I stamped the bird image from the Lilypad Lake stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink and the lilypad image in Pear Pizzazz ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I added a little color to the lilypad image with Pear Pizzazz and Powder Pink inks and a Blender Pen, then cut the two images out with coordinating dies from the Lakeside Framelits Dies.  I cut the seagrass from Call Me Clover and Shaded Spruce card stocks with a die from the Lakeside Framelits Dies.

I added a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the back of the bird and grass die cuts and then tucked them inside the “slats” on the Soft Seafoam card stock die cut and adhered them to the panel.  I stamped the water image from the Lilypad Lake stamp set in Pear Pizzazz ink on a panel of Pear Pizzazz card stock and the sentiment from that stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and cut both of them out with dies from the Lakeside Framelits Dies.

I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel and tied a bow.  Then I adhered the sentiment to the Pear Pizzazz panel with SNAIL and over the Linen Thread with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the Lilypad die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then adhered the layered card front to a Shaded Spruce card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment to finish it.

I stamped and colored the images from the Lilypad Lake stamp set as described above on a Whisper White panel inside the card.
