Stampin’ Up! Waterfront for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Waterfront stamp set and a little of the Share What You Love DSP to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

My card also works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #TTTC045.  I went down the left side.

I started by adhering a panel from the Share What You Love Specialty DSP (available May 1) to the front of a Tranquil Tide card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The I adhered a panel of Tranquil Tide card stock to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the images from the Waterfront photopolymer stamp set in Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz, Tranquil Tide and Pineapple Punch (available May 1) inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  The water, dots and sun images were all stamped on scrap paper once before stamping on the panel.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a small piece of Tranquil Tide Washi Tape from the Basics Pack 2 Washi Tape (retiring May 31) to the lower right side of the stamped panel and then stamped the sentiment from the Colorful Seasons photopolymer stamp set in Tranquil Tide ink on a strip of Crumb Cake card stock.  I snipped the ends of the sentiment strip at an angle and then adhered a piece of Linen Thread with Glue Dots to the back.  I adhered the sentiment panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.

I stamped the images from the Waterfront photopolymer stamp set in Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz and Tranquil Tide inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock on the inside of the card.
