I used the Stampin’ Up! Lilypad Lake stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2018-19 Annual Catalog to create my card for the Fab Friday color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Fab Friday 138.  Hope that you’ll stop by the Fab Friday Challenge Blog and play along too!

I started by adhering a panel from the Garden Impressions 6″ x 6″ DSP pack (available June 1) to the front of a Melon Mambo card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the water image from the Lilypad Lake stamp set (available June 1) in Powder Pink ink on a panel of Powder Pink card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Melon Mambo card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the bird image from the Lilypad Lake stamp set in Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo and Powder Pink inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut them out with the coordinating Lakeside Framelits Dies (available June 1) and adhered them to the Powder Pink card stock panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut the sea grass with one of the Lakeside Framelits Dies from Soft Sea Foam card stock (available June 1) and adhered the die cuts around the birds with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sun image from the Lilypad Lake stamp set in So Saffron ink on a panel of So Saffron card stock and I adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the Powder Pink panel.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow, then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Colorful Seasons photopolymer stamp set in Melon Mambo ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, cut it out with one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the bird and water images from the Lilypad Lake stamp set in Powder Pink and Melon Mambo inks on a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.
