We’re in Seattle getting ready to board the Stampin’ Up! Alaskan Cruise a little later today!  So excited to say hello to many old and new Demonstrator friends from all over the world!!  I will be popping in with posts and card projects throughout the week while I’m away.  Can’t wait to share the Alaskan adventures with you!

I used the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Chic stamp set bundle to create my card for the Fab Friday color challenge this week.

I started by stamping the lined image from the Tropical Chic stamp set in Mint Macaron ink across the front of a Thick Whisper White card base.  Then I inked the dot image from that stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on the card front over the left side of the card base.

I stamped the leaf and flower images from the Tropical Chic stamp set in Tranquil Tide, Mossy Meadow, Mint Macaron and Powder Pink inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  The two medium sized leaves were inked with Mint Macaron and then sponged around the edges with a Sponge Dauber and Tranquil Tide ink before stamping.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Tropical Thinlits Dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the Tropical Chic stamp set in Tranquil Tide ink on a strip of Whisper White card stock and then punched the end with the Banner Triple Punch.  I layered the die cut pieces and sentiment on the card front.  I adhered the die cuts with Glue Dots and the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I pulled a strand of Linen Thread through one of the Tropical Elements and tied a bow.  I adhered the button to the card front with a Glue Dot and then added three Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins to finish the card front.

I stamped the images from the Tropical Chic stamp set in Mossy Meadow, Powder Pink, Mint Macaron and Tranquil Tide inks on a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.
