Stampin’ Up! Falling for Leaves for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “fall frenzy” theme and I’m featuring the Falling For Leaves stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2018 Holiday Catalog for my project.

My card design was inspired by TGIF Challenge #172.

I started by stamping the leaf and flower images from the Falling For Leaves photopolymer stamp set (available Sept 5) in Soft Suede and Crushed Curry inks on a panel of Nature’s Poem DSP.  I adhered the stamped DSP panel to a panel of Crushed Curry card stock with SNAIL.  Then I trimmed a panel of the Country Lane DSP (available Sept 5) at an angle and added a border behind it that I’d cut from Crushed Curry card stock with one of the Detailed Leaves Thinlits Dies (available Sept 5) .  I adhered the angled DSP panel to the Crushed Curry card stock panel with SNAIL.

I adhered a strip of 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim (available Sept 5) to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to cover the seam between the DSP and the die cut card stock and then adhered the layered panel to a Blackberry Bliss card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a panel of the Galvanized Metallic Paper with one fo the Detailed Leaves Thinlits Dies and then used another die from that set, along with the Big Shot Embossing Mats to emboss the die cut leaf.  I sponged the edges of the die cut with Soft Suede ink and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Falling For Leaves stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and I added the flower images in Crushed Curry ink over it.  I adhered the stamped panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three gold Metallic Pearls around the leaf die cut to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower and leaf images from the Falling For Leaves stamp set in Blackberry Bliss, Soft Suede and Crushed Curry inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
