I am a huge fan of clean and simple…especially when it comes to making a big stack of cards for Christmas!  I used the Stampin’ Up! Merry Christmas To All stamp set bundle and the Bokeh Dots stamp set to create a super simple Christmas card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #285.

I started by inking the star image from the Bokeh Dots stamp set in Gray Granite ink and then using a Sponge Brayer with a little bit of Gray Granite ink on it to even out the ink across the stamp.  I am finding that with the brand new ink pads, many are too inky to get a really good image from the DistINKtive stamps, so rolling over them with a Sponge Brayer or dabbing them with a Sponge Dauber gives the perfect image!  I stamped the star image on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

Then I covered the two corners of the stamped image with Post-It Notes and I stamped the star image again, overlapping the first image.  I let the panel dry completely, then stamped the sentiments from the Merry Christmas To All photopolymer stamp set (available Sept 5) in VersaMark ink, sprinkled them with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them.

I cut the sentiment from Joyous Noel 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper (available Sept 5) with one of the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies (available Sept 5) and then adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the stamped panel.  I adhered the Whisper White card stock panel to a panel of Merry Merlot card stock with SNAIL and then to a Gray Granite card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added one of the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets (available Sept 5) next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and leaves from the Merry Christmas To All stamp set in Merry Merlot and Gray Granite inks on a Whisper White card stock panel.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Merry Merlot card stock and then to the inside of the card base.
