Stampin’ Up! Country Home for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Country Home stamp set to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a panel from the Wood Textures DSP Stack to an Early Espresso card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut the edge of a panel of Old Olive card stock with one of the Delicate Lace Edgelits Dies and then adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.

I stamped the images from the Country Home photopolymer stamp set (available Sept 5) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then I colored the images with the Light and Dark Smoky Slate, Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Cajun Craze (available Sept 5) and Mango Melody (available Sept 5) Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I used the Color Lifter to remove some of the ink on the can image and then adhered the panel to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the Country Home stamp set in Old Olive ink on a panel of Mango Melody card stock and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I pulled a strand of Linen Thread through one of the Galvanized Buttons (available Sept 5), tied a bow and then adhered it with a Glue Dot to the card front.

I stamped the images from the Country Home stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Great card Amy. I love the way we used the same set and layout but our cards were uniquely different. Beautiful coloring too!
