Stampin’ Up! Pleasant Pheasants Thank You

I used the Stampin’ Up! Pleasant Pheasants stamp set to create a harvest thank you card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP154.

I started by adhering a panel from the Country Lane DSP to an Early Espresso card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I snipped out a small piece of one of the Chicken Wire Elements and I adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a small bow.

I stamped the sentiment from the Falling for Leaves photopolymer stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then inked the image from the Pleasant Pheasants stamp set in Early Espresso ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on the Whisper White panel.  I used Light Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends and the Color Lifter to color the image.

I sponged the edges of the Whisper White card stock panel with Early Espresso ink, adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Early Espresso card stock with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut branches from Whisper White card stock with dies from the Foliage Frame Framelits Dies and the In the Woods Framelits Dies and then sponged them with Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive inks and a Sponge Dauber.  I adhered the die cuts and one of the Leaves Trinkets with rolled up Glue Dots to finish the card front.

I inked the bucket image from the Pleasant Pheasants stamp set in Early Espresso ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored the images with Light Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends and the Color Lifter to finish the inside of the card.
