Stampin’ Up! Warm Hearted Halloween Card & Takeout Treats Box for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “Halloween Fun” theme and I’m featuring the Warm Hearted host exclusive stamp set and the Takeout Treats stamp set bundle for my projects.

I made a gift set with a card and a Takeout Treat Box.  Love those little takeout boxes!!

The card was pretty simple, I started by adhering a panel from the Toil & Trouble DSP to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Basic Black Baker’s Twine around the panel and tied one of the Spider Trinkets to it.  I adhered the layered panel to a Basic Black card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I stamped the sentiment from the Warm Hearted photopolymer host exclusive stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento and Highland Heather inks on a panel of Gorgeous Grape card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the ghost image from the Cauldron Bubble stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored the edges with a Light Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends and the Color Lifter markers. I cut the image out with the coordinating Cauldron Framelits Dies and adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot.  I colored one of the Glitter Enamel Dots with the Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Marker and then adhered it to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and ghost images from the Cauldron Bubble stamp set in Gorgeous Grape and in Tuxedo Black Memento inks on a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.

Then I went to work on the Takeout Treat box.  I cut a panel of Basic Black card stock twice with the Takeout Thinlits Dies and then cut the Toil & Trouble DSP panel with a die from that set.  I adhered the DSP die cut to the treat box die cut on two sides and then assembled the treat box as instructed on the die packaging, using Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the box together.

I wrapped a strand of the Black 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon around the box and tied a bow then stamped the sentiment from the Takeout Treats stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut it out with the banner die from the Takeout Thinlits Dies, snipped the left end off and punched a hole with the 1/8″ Handheld Circle Punch.  I pulled a strand of Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twine through the tag and tied it with a small knot to the ribbon.  I stamped, colored and cut out another ghost from the Cauldron Bubble stamp set on Whisper White card stock and then adhered it with a Glue Dot to finish the tag.

    • It is a smaller treat box, it measures about 2″ wide x 2″ tall x 1-1/2″ deep and it tapers down to about 1-3/4″ wide at the bottom. It’s really cute! 🙂
