Stampin’ Up! Trick or Tweet Halloween Card for the Happy Inking Thursday and Happy Stampers Combined Blog Hop

We’re joining forces with Sandi MacIver’s Happy Stampers for our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop again this week!  I used the Stampin’ Up! Trick or Tweet stamp set to create my card for the Combined Blog Hop today.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

And here is the sketch:

I started by adhering a panel from the Toil & Trouble DSP to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL.  Then I adhered strips of Basic Black and Lemon Lime Twist card stocks across the card front with SNAIL.  I embossed a strip of Mango Melody card stock with the Corrugated Embossing Folder and then adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

I wrapped a strand of Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twine around the panel and then tied one of the Spider Trinkets to it.  I adhered the layered panel to a Mango Melody card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment, cat and pumpkin image from the Trick or Tweet stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored it with the Light Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Marker and the Light and Dark Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack Markers.  I used the Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends to color the nose and ears.

I cut the image out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits Die and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Cauldron Bubble stamp set in Mango Melody ink and the cat image from the Trick or Tweet stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock on the inside of the card.  I added a little color to the cat with Light Basic Black and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.

    • Thanks Karen! I was a little surprised when I opened up the page to see that I had followed the sketch (for the most part) without even realizing it! Guess that my little brain must have remembered that somewhere deep. 🙂
