I used the Stampin’ Up! Wishing You Well and Beautiful Bouquet stamp sets to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

My card design was inspired by the Fusion Challenge sketch this week.

My card was also inspired by The Paper Players PP412.  I went right across the top.

I started by embossing the front of a Thick Whisper White card base with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder.  Then I punched the end of a strip of Country Lane DSP with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.  Since the strip was slightly wider than the punch, I used my scissors to snip the areas on the ends that didn’t punch.  I adhered a panel of Cajun Craze DSP from the Regals 6″ x 6″ DSP pack to a panel of Cajun Craze card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the images from the Wishing You Well stamp set in Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Blackberry Bliss inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I did use Sponge Daubers that I’d tapped in Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive inks to dab off the excess ink on the bow and stems images.  I find that if your ink pads are overly inky, using the Sponge Dauber makes those images stamp perfectly!  I cut the image out with a Layering Ovals Framelits Die and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet photopolymer stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with a Layering Ovals Framelits Die, adhered it with SNAIL to an oval that I’d cut from Blackberry Bliss card stock with another Layering Ovals Framelits Die and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added one of the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets next to the flowers to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Special Celebrations stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added the flower images from the Wishing You Well stamp set in Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Blackberry Bliss inks to finish the inside of the card.
