Stampin’ Up! Meant to Be Sneak Peek for the Happy Inking Thursday and Happy Stampers Combined Blog Hop

We’re joining forces with Sandi MacIver’s Happy Stampers for our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop again this week!  I used the Stampin’ Up! Meant to Be stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2019 Occasions Catalog (yep, couldn’t wait to start showing off the new stuff!!) to create my card for the Combined Blog Hop today.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

And here is the sketch that we’re using…if you squint and turn your head a bit, you can see the sketch in my card.  😉

I started by cutting a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies (available Jan 3) and then embossing it with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a Gray Granite card base with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and then tied one of the Corrugated Elements in the bow.  I colored one of the Heart Epoxy Droplets (available Jan 3) with a Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Marker and then adhered it to the tag.

I stamped the heart image from the Meant to Be stamp set (available Jan 3) in Gray Granite ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock three times and then colored the flowers with the Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack.  I added a little Mossy Meadow ink to the leaves with the fine point end of the Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write Marker and then cut the images out with the coordinating Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  The die cuts the inside solid heart and the stitched scalloped heart at the same time, so I adhered them back together with a little tape and then adhered the two upper hearts with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the lower heart with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the Meant to Be stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then ran it through the Big Shot with the stitched label die from the Needlepoint Elements Framelits Dies (available Jan 3).  I punched the sentiment out with the Pretty Label Punch and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I also added a Stampin’ Dimensional under the little tag to keep it in place.

I stamped the sentiment and hearts from the Meant to Be stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and Gray Granite inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

Here is a picture of the awesome Meant to Be stamp and die bundle from the OnStage display board.  The die set is HUGE!  This bundle will be available to purchase beginning on January 3!
