Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Gala Team Meeting Card 2!

I wanted to share the second card that we made at our Inkin’ Krew Team Meeting over the weekend with you today.  We used the new Butterfly Gala stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2019 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog to create this card.

I started by adhering a panel from the Botanical Butterfly DSP (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 3) to a panel of Basic Black card stock and then to a Grapefruit Grove card base with SNAIL.  Then I adhered two strips of Lemon Lime Twist 1/4″ Ombre Ribbon to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the butterfly outline images from the Butterfly Gala photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 3) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink three times on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Then I stamped the solid wing images in Lemon Lime Twist, Grapefruit Grove and Pineapple Punch inks over the outline images.  I punched the butterflies out with the Butterfly Duet Punch (available Jan 3) and then stamped the bodies in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the punches.  I adhered the butterflies to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic Black card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits Die and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I adhered the small butterflies (that were stamped and punched at the same time as the larger butterflies) with Glue Dots to a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.

You can see the list of supplies, including card stock cuts, used to create this card at the very bottom of this blog post.
