I used the Stampin’ Up! Climbing Roses stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2019 Occasions Catalog to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge this week and here is what I created for it.
Here are the colors that we’re using this week:
My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #304.
I started by embossing the front of a Thick Whisper White card base with Subtle Embossing Folder. I adhered a strip of the All My Love DSP (available Jan 3) to the card base with SNAIL. Then I cut a panel of Whisper White card stock with one of the dies from the Rose Trellis Thinlits Dies and I adhered the die cut to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I stamped the sentiment from the Climbing Roses cling stamp set (available Jan 3) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I sprinkled the image with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it, then cut the image out with the banner die from the Rose Trellis Thinlits Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Glue Dots.
I stamped the flower image from the Climbing Roses stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I sprinkled the image with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it, then cut it out with the coordinating die from the Rose Trellis Thinlits Dies. I used a Blender Pen and Lovely Lipstick ink to color the flowers before adhering the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added three Metallic Pearls to finish the card front.
I cut a detailed rose from Whisper White card stock with one of the Rose Trellis Thinlits Dies and adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.
