I pulled out the beautiful new Wonderful Romance stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2019 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog to create a clean and simple card to share with you today.
My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #168.
I started by embossing a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Lace Embossing Folder (available Jan 3). I adhered the embossed panel to another panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL and then to a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Wonderful Romance stamp set (available Jan 3) in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies (available Jan 3). I adhered the die cut sentiment with Glue Dots to the card front.
I stamped the large floral image from the Wonderful Romance stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored it with Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Pineapple Punch and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack Markers. I cut the image out with the coordinating die from the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added one of the Frosted Flower Embellishments next to the sentiment to finish the card front.
I stamped the leaf and flower images from the Wonderful Romance stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento inks and colored them with Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam and Pineapple Punch Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack Markers on a Whisper White card stock panel. I inked and stamped off the small splatter image from the Wonderful Romance stamp set in Soft Suede ink and then stamped it across the panel to finish the inside of the card.

Wow, you say clean and simple but it looks anything but! Your soft colors are perfect with that elegant embossing and die cut sentiment circle. That makes me want the set!
Thanks Susan…I promise you that it only took about 15 minutes to make! The coloring on the flowers took the longest and that really only took a few minutes since it’s a small image! 🙂
