I used the Stampin’ Up! Beach Happy stamp set from the upcoming 2019 Occasions Catalog to create a fun card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #367.

I started by adhering a panel from the Gingham Gala 6″ x 6″ DSP (available Jan 3) to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL and then to a Sahara Sand card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the images from the Beach Happy photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 3) in Smoky Slate, Grapefruit Grove, Pool Party, Sahara Sand and Lemon Lime Twist inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I did use the Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blends to “cheat” a little on the umbrella image…I didn’t get it lined up perfectly when I stamped it, so I just colored in the white spots with my marker and it worked perfectly!  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Whisper White card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.

I adhered a small strip of 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon with Tear & Tape Adhesive to the card front and then stamped the sentiment from the Beach Happy stamp set in Grapefruit Grove ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits Die and then adhered it with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the  card front.  I added three of the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots (available Jan 3) around the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the palm tree images from the Beach Happy stamp set in Sahara Sand and Lemon Lime Twist inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
