Stampin’ Up! Home to Roost for the Greek Isles Achievers Blog Hop

Welcome to the Greek Isles Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop for December 2018! Our theme is Occasions or Sale-a-bration.  We have so many amazing ideas for using your Stampin’ Up! products and want to make sure you get to see them so that you can get some ideas on how to use your awesome products!

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.  At the moment you are visiting Amy Koenders in Atlanta, GA USA.

Here is the project that I am sharing with you today.  I used the Home to Roost stamp set from the upcoming 2019 Sale-a-bration Catalog to create a super clean and simple “just a note” card.

I started by inking the splatter image from the Artisan Textures stamp set in Pear Pizzazz ink, stamping it on scrap paper and then stamping it on the front of a Pear Pizzazz card base.  Then I adhered a panel from the Floral Romance Specialty DSP pack (available Jan 3) to a Sahara Sand card stock panel and then to the card front with SNAIL.

I inked the grass image from the Home to Roost cling stamp set (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 3) in Pear Pizzazz ink and used a Blender Pen to remove the ink from the tops of the grass.  I added So Saffron ink back to the tops of the grasses with a So Saffron Stampin’ Write Marker and then stamped the image on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut it out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits Die and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the Home to Roost stamp set in Pear Pizzazz ink on a strip of Balmy Blue card stock.  Then I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the strip 4 times and tied a knot.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added one of the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the grass image from the Home to Roost stamp set in Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron inks (inking it as described above) on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. 1. Amy, you really put together such a beautiful serene scene on this card. I love how you even added a little something on the inside too 🙂
