I used the Stampin’ Up! By the Bay stamp set from the upcoming 2019 Sale-a-bration Catalog to create a clean and simple card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC195.  Don’t tell…but I used a little touch of green in my design.  😉  Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps blog to see what the other design team members created and to play along too!

I started by embossing a panel of Balmy Blue card stock with the Pinewood Planks Embossing folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the image from the By the Bay stamp set (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 3) in StazOn Jet Black ink on a panel of Watercolor Paper and I used an Aqua Painter along with So Saffron, Balmy Blue, Gray Granite, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze and Pear Pizzazz inks to watercolor the image.  Once the image dried completely, I cut it out with one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (available Jan 3) and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the By the Bay stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of So Saffron card stock and then punched the end of the panel with the Banner Triple Punch.  I adhered a looped strand of Linen Thread to the back of the banner with Glue Dots and then adhered the banner to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a silver pearl from the Metallic Pearls pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the bird image from the By the Bay stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
