I used the Stampin’ Up! Hey Love stamp set and the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies from the 2019 Occasions Catalog (that opens for ordering tomorrow!!) to create my card to share with you today.
My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP170.
I started by adhering a panel from the All My Love DSP (available Jan 3) to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL and then to a Flirty Flamingo card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the otter image from the Hey Love cling stamp set (available Jan 3) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Markers as well as Light Smoky Slate Blends for the shadows. I stamped the sentiment from the Hey Love stamp set in Flirty Flamingo ink under the otter image and then cut it out with one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (available Jan 3). I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut a panel of Lovely Lipstick card stock with the narrowest Rectangle Stitched Framelits Die and then cut it a second time with the row of hearts die from the Everyday Jars Framelits Dies. I adhered the “frame” above the sentiment and three of the little die cut hearts down the right side with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered three of the small Heart Epoxy Droplets over the die cut hearts to finish the card front.
I had a little happy discovery while making this card…the Heart Epoxy Droplets are an almost exact match to the little heart die cuts! Love that you can add a little extra shine to any color heart!
I stamped the heart image from the Meant to Be stamp set (available Jan 3) in Flirty Flamingo ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card. I stamped 3 hearts “full-strength” and the others were stamped without reinking to get the ombre effect.
