Stampin’ Up! Vibrant Vases Happy Day Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Vibrant Vases stamp set and coordinating Vases Builder Punch to create my card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #305.

I started by adhering a panel from the 2018-2020 In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP pack to a panel of Blueberry Bushel card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered a small panel from the Wood Textures DSP Stack to the larger panel with SNAIL, then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around it twice and tied a bow.  I adhered the layered panel to a Blueberry Bushel card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the vase images from the Vibrant Vases phototpolymer stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock (background images were stamped on scrap paper once) and I punched them out with the Vases Builder Punch.  I placed the vases on another panel of Whisper White card stock, made little pencil marks at the top to guide placement for stamping the two stemmed flower bunches.  I stamped the flower images from the Vibrant Vases stamp set in Basic Gray ink on the Whisper White card stock panel and then cut around them with a Stitched Shapes Framelits Die.

I colored the flower images with Light and Dark Pineapple Punch and Light Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Markers and then stamped the leaves in Call Me Clover ink.  I adhered the two side vase punches with Glue Dots and the center vase with Stampin’ Dimensioals.  Then I stamped the third flower image from Vibrant vases stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, stamped the leaves in Call Me Clover ink over it and then colored the images with Light and Dark Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends.  I snipped out the flowers and adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the center vase.

I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with one of the dies from the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies.  I added three Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped and colored two of the vases in the same way described above on a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.
