Stampin’ Up! Tea Together With Home To Roost

I used the Stampin’ Up! Tea Together and Home to Roost stamp sets and the Tea Time Framelits Dies to create my card to share with you today.

One quick note before I jump into the card details…I’ll be doing my Lunchtime Live video on Facebook today at 12:00 noon ET so stop by my Facebook page then to say “hi”.  If you can’t make it for the live, stop by later to view the video!

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 421.

I started by adhering a wide strip of Tea Room Specialty DSP to a Calypso Coral card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a wider panel of Tea Room Specialty DSP to a Calypso Coral card stock panel with SNAIL and then to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the tea pot and tea cup images from the Tea Together stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then colored them with the Light and Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack Markers.  I also used the Color Lifter in a few areas to lighten the colors.  Then I stamped the flower image from the Tea Together stamp set in Calypso Coral ink and I used Light and Dark Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack Markers to color the image.  I cut all three images out with the coordinating Tea Time Framelits Dies (Sale-a-bration item).

I adhered the tea pot with SNAIL and the tea cup with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added the flower with a Glue Dot to adhere it.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Home to Roost stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Calypso Coral ink on a strip of Very Vanilla card stock.  I punched the end with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added a Glitter Enamel Dot and two Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the larger flower image from the Tea Together stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then used Light and Dark Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack Markers to color the image to finish the inside of the card.
