Stampin’ Up! Hello Cupcake for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I  used the Stampin’ Up! Hello Cupcake stamp set and the Call Me Cupcake Thinlits Dies that will be available March 1 to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and here is what I created for it.

We also have a new member joining us for the blog hop!  Please help us welcome Eva Dobilas from Canada!  She’s hopped with us once a month for awhile but will now be a permanent addition to the Thursday hop.  So glad to have her with us!

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

My card also works for Inspire.Create.Challenge 036.

I started by adhering a panel from the How Sweet It Is DSP to a panel of Coastal Cabana card stock with SNAIL.  Then I added a narrow strip of How Sweet It Is DSP over the panel, adhering it with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Whisper White Baker’s Twine around the panel twice and tied a bow, then adhered the layered panel to a Melon Mambo card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut panels of Whisper White card stock and Silver Foil Sheets with the dies from the Call Me Cupcake Framelits Dies (available March 1).  I snipped the “handle” at the top of the Whisper White die cut off and adhered the Silver Foil die cut in it’s place with SNAIL.  I adhered the cake plate die cut from Silver Foil Sheets with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then adhered the cake plate to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the cupcake images from the Hello Cupcake photopolymer stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Coastal Cabana and Melon Mambo inks (the small section of cake was stamped off once) on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the images out with the Call Me Cupcake Framelits Dies and adhered them with SNAIL to the cake plate.

I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set in VersaMark ink on a Coastal Cabana card stock panel, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the image out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits die and adhered it with SNAIL and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three Glitter Enamel Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiments from the Hello Cupcake and Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp sets in Melon Mambo and Coastal Cabana inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I added the flower images from the Hello Cupcake stamp set in Melon Mambo ink (stamped off once) to finish the inside of the card.
