Stampin’ Up! Painted Seasons With Part of My Story Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Painted Seasons stamp set bundle and the Part of My Story stamp set to create a quick card to share with you today.  I did a video tutorial showing you how I made this card and gave some quick tips for getting a perfect image with the DisINKtive stamps every time.  So stop by my YouTube Channel or Facebook Page to watch it now!

I stared by adhering a panel of the Painted Seasons DSP (Sale-a-bration item) to a panel of Call Me Clover card stock with SNAIL and then to a Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Part of My Story stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in VersaMark ink on a strip of Lemon Lime Twist card stock and heat embossed it with Call Me Clover embossing powder from the 2018-2020 In Color Stampin’ Emboss Powder set.

I adhered the sentiment strip to a strip of Call Me Clover card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.  I adhered loops of Linen Thread with Glue Dots to the card front over the left side of the sentiment strip.  Then I inked the flower image from the Painted Seasons stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Lemon Lime Twist ink and used a Sponge Dauber and Call Me Clover ink to add a little color around the edge before stamping it on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I repeated that process two more times to stamp the other two flowers.

I stamped the leaf image from the Painted Seasons stamp set in Call Me Clover ink 5 times on the Whisper White card stock panel and then cut the flower and leaf images out with the Four Seasons Framelits Dies (available March 1).  I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added 3 of the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets around the card front to finish it.

I adhered a strip of Painted Seasons DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies, including card stock cuts, used to create this project at the very bottom of this blog post.

***Quick Reminder:  The 2017-2019 In Colors (Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Tranquil Tide, Powder Pink and Fresh Fig) will likely be retiring at the end of this Annual Catalog in early June.  The retiring list will be announced in mid-April and the retiring In Color card stock, ink refills, Stampin’ Write Markers and ink pads often sell out very quickly once that list is announced!  Sale-a-bration is a great time to stock up on those retiring colors so that you’ll be guaranteed to get them AND earn free Sale-a-bratiton items while you stock up!
