Stampin’ Up! Daisy Delight Thank You for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I  used the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Delight stamp set and Painted Seasons stamp set bundle to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and here is what I created for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

The colors for my card were inspired by Inspire.Create.Challenge #037.

I started by embossing a panel of Pool Party card stock with the Basket Weave Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a slightly larger panel of Pool Party card stock with SNAIL and then to a Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a strip of Pool Party DSP from the Painted Seasons DSP pack (Sale-a-bration item) and a strip of Mint Macaron DSP from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP pack to the card front with SNAIL.  I stamped the sentiment from the Delightful Daisy photopolymer stamp set in Pool Party ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the daisy image from the Daisy Delight stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink two times on a panel of Whisper White card stock and punched them out with the Daisy Punch.  I adhered the two daises together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to the card front with a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I stamped the solid flower center image in Soft Suede ink (stamped on scrap paper once) on a Whisper White card stock panel and then added the more detailed center image over it in Soft Suede ink.  I punched the center out with the 1/2″ Circle Punch and adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the daisy center.

I inked the leaf image from the Painted Seasons stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Mint Macaron ink and then used a Sponge Dauber to even out the ink coverage before stamping it on a panel of Whisper White card stock twice.  I cut the images out with the Four Seasons Framelits Dies (available March 1) and adhered them with Glue Dots to the card front.  I added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the flower to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower images from the Delightful Daisy stamp set in Mint Macaron and Daffodil Delight inks on a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.

    • Thanks Karen! Feel free to interpret the sketches however you’d like…as long as we can see the basic elements, you’re all good! 🙂

  1. Soooo pretty, simple, lovely and directly to the point! Makes me think of Spring, just wish it would hurry up and get here, so tired of cold and rain! Thank you!

  2. So happy to see an “old” favorite. Thanks for using the daisy again! Your card is so springlike–and we need that!
