Stampin’ Up! Climbing Roses Thank You Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Climbing Roses stamp set bundle to create a thank you card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 426.

I used the colors from the TGIF Challenge #TGIFC201.

I started by stamping the lattice look image from the Climbing Roses stamp set in Soft Sea Foam ink across the front of a Soft Sea Foam card base.  Then I embossed a panel of Soft Sea Foam card stock with the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I stamped the sentiment from the Climbing Roses stamp set in VersaMark ink on a strip of Highland Heather card stock and embossed it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I punched the end of the sentiment panel and the end of a strip of Gold Foil Sheets with the Banner Triple Punch and I adhered them both to the embossed panel with SNAIL.  I trimmed the banners even with the edge of the embossed panel, then adhered the panel to a slightly larger panel of Soft Sea Foam card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to a Soft Sea Foam card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the large floral image from the Climbing Roses stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored it with the Light and Dark Soft Sea Foam and Highland Heather and Light Daffodil Delight Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out with the coordinating Rose Trellis Thinlits Dies.  I adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added three So Saffron pearls from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to finish the card front.

I stamped the lattice image from the Climbing Roses stamp set in Soft Sea Foam ink over the edges of a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.

  1. There is nothing I don’t like about your CAS card. How have I missed those pearls? These colors are so soft…I hope you win!! Looking forward to being with you this noon.

    • Thanks Julie! I’m really generally not a purple fan, but I do love Soft Sea Foam and Highland Heather together! 🙂
