Stampin’ Up! Tea Together in Very Vanilla

I used the Stampin’ Up! Tea Together stamp set and coordinating Tea Time Framelits Dies to create my card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by As You See It #195.

I started by embossing a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Thick Very Vanilla card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I embossed a smaller panel of Very Vanilla card stock with the Country Floral Embossing Folder (Sale-a-bration item) and I adhered it with SNAIL to a slightly larger panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.

I inked the dot image from the Timeless Textures stamp set with Petal Pink ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it across a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a slightly larger panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.  I adhered a small piece of Gold 3/8″ Metallic Edge Ribbon with SNAIL to the card front.  Then I stamped the tea cup from the Tea Together stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I colored it with the Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack Markers and cut it out with the coordinating Tea Time Framelits Dies (Sale-a-bration item).  I adhered the tea cup with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the flower from the Tea Together stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and colored it with the Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack Markers.  I cut the image out with the coordinating Tea Time Framelits Die and adhered it with Glue Dots to the tea cup.

I stamped the sentiment from the Tea Together stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and cut it out with one of the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower image from the Tea Together stamp set in Petal Pink ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. I think the way you’ve made the large rectangle in the sketch an embossed panel the same as the background is genius. It really draws the eye down to your sentiment and gorgeous cup and saucer. Thanks for playing along with us at As You See It, Amy. It’s always a pleasure to have you in our gallery.

  2. I love the rich textures on your project, Amy, and the way the vanilla background highlights your teacup and sentiment. Thanks for joining us at As You See It Challenges.
