Yep, you read that right! We’re moving again as soon as the kids finish up the school year in late May! My husband has taken a job based in New Jersey and he’s been commuting back and forth for the past few months while the kids finish up school this year.
We’ve sold our current house and are closing on our new house this week in the small town of Mendham, NJ which is about an hour outside New York City. The movers will be here packing and loading during the last week of May and we’ll be heading north and setting up our house in early June.
My sister is coming to help with the unpacking again and she and I always start with the kitchen and stamp room and worry about the rest of the house later. Food and stamps are the two most important things…showers and sleeping can wait. 😉 Can’t wait to share pictures of the new stamping space with you!
And don’t worry…I’m continuing as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. One of the awesome bonuses of being mostly online is that my business can be set up wherever I am. So I’ll still be here, I’ll just be broadcasting from a new location a little farther north. 🙂

Good Luck to you! Mendam is a beautiful town. Jersey gets a bad rap but has many beautiful places. I currently live in Southern Jersey (near the shore) but I’m previously from the Fanwood/Scotch Plains area.

Congratulations on the new house, I can’t imagine how stressful it would be to move. My daughter is in the military and moves regularly. However the Army will pack up, ship, and then unload the boxes into the new residence. The last move she found her clearly labeled box of silverware in the master bedroom! My husband & I have been in the same home for 39 years, who knows what we would find if we moved. Good luck to you & your family in the new space.
