Stampin’ Up! Woven Heirlooms Sneak Peek

I used the Stampin’ Up! Woven Heirlooms stamp set and the Stitched Lace Dies from the upcoming 2019-2020 Annual Catalog to create my card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #386.

I started by inking the Sheet Music stamp set (retiring June 3) in Soft Suede ink, stamping it on scrap paper and then stamping it on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I used my Stamparatus and an oversized panel to make sure that I got good coverage when I stamped.  Then I inked the lined image from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set (available June 4) in Soft Suede ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it around the edges of the Very Vanilla panel.

I cut a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with the large die from the Stitched Lace Dies (available June 4) and used the Die Brush to move all of the little bits from the die cut.  I removed the die cut panel from the larger die and then used the edge die from the Stitched Lace Dies to cut along two sides of the die cut.  I adhered the die cut panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the stamped panel and then trimmed the edges to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.  I adhered the layered panel to a Thick Very Vanilla card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment and flourish (stamped off once) from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits Die and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I stamped the flower images from the Time for Tea photopolymer stamp set (retiring June 3) in Petal Pink and Soft Suede inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock (the solid images were stamped off once) and then cut them out with the Spot of Tea Framelits Dies (retiring June 3).

I adhered the flower die cuts with Glue Dots around the sentiment and then added three gold pearls from the Metallic Pearls pack to finish the card front.

I inked and stamped off the lined image from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a Very Vanilla card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.

  1. This is such a beautiful card! I just love the lace and the sentiment! So elegant! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

    • Thanks Sandi! It does cut beautifully…just make sure that you have a die brush to get all of those little bits out and it’s very easy to use! 🙂
