I got the May Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up! late last week and I dug right in to put it together.  This was a special kit that was designed with the help of Stampin’ Up!’s co-founder Shelli Gardner and the cards are beautiful!

This kit is called Hugs From Shelli and it contained the materials needed to make 12 note cards and coordinating envelopes!

This is the Hugs From Shelli stamp set that is exclusive to the kit.  The kit also included an Early Espresso ink spot for stamping.

The cards are so beautiful!

The elements from nature add such pretty touches!

The foil touches on the sentiment die cuts are fantastic!

Check out the sweet bird embellishment on this card!

One thing that I did find was that the envelopes included in the kit were a very tight fit for the embellished cards.  So I converted the envelopes into an envelope liner for a standard A2 envelope.  It was super simple, just pull apart the glued edges, trim the flaps and gummed edge and adhere it inside of a normal envelope.  The liner fits perfectly!
