We had our team meeting at my new house yesterday!  My stamp room is officially set up enough for crafting.  Woohooo!!

Jaimie, Rachel, Karen, Christy M, Christy B, Kim, Julie and Penny all joined me in person for a little lunch and a little stamping and Tara, Leslie, Marilyn H, Karen I, Beth, Marilyn W, Cindy, Karen F, Deepa, Mary, Sue, Linda, Lisa and Shirley joined online.  Sue hosted a team meeting at her house so some of the group from Atlanta got together for a little stamping too!

We made a two projects with the Petals & Parcels stamp set bundle.  The first project was a little treat box that featured a little of the Bird Ballad DSP and the Petal Pink 5/8″ Organdy Striped Ribbon.

The tag was punched on tip with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch and on the bottom with the Detailed Trio corner rounder punch.  The circle was punched with the 1-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch and the tag was cut with one of the Perfect Parcel Dies.  The images are stamped in Pool Party and Old Olive inks on Whisper White card stock and the box was cut from Petal Pink card stock.

Some quick instructions for assembling the Perfect Parcel box:

Cut two of the largest die cuts.  Apply Tear & Tape Adhesive to the two small flaps on both of the die cuts. Fold along the score lines.

Turn the die cuts over and apply Tear & Tape Adhesive to the triangle, as show.

Place the two die cuts side by side and adhere the first set of flaps together.

Fold into a square and adhere the other set of flaps.

Turn the box upside down and fold the two angled flaps in.

Fold the two larger flaps in and press them in the center until the tabs flip inside and “lock” together.

Fold the flaps back and peel the Tear & Tape Adhesive and adhere the two triangle flaps to secure the bottom of the box.

Turn the box upright and fold the top flaps closed.  The ends will create a triangle when the top is folded in.

Fold the triangle flaps down on the side of the box and tuck the tip of the triangle into the die cut “U” in the side of the box.

We made a coordinating card with a Sahara Sand card base and a flourish cut from Soft Suede card stock with a Perfect Parcel die.  The background panel is Bird Ballad DSP and the images are stamped in Petal Pink, Old Olive and Soft Suede inks.  The circle was cut with a Stitched Shapes Die and the sentiment was cut with a die from the Perfect Parcel Dies.
