Stampin’ Up! Wildly Happy For The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Wildly Happy stamp set to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and here is what I created for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by stamping the branch image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Soft Suede ink across a panel of Pressed Petals Specialty DSP.  I adhered the DSP panel to a panel of Soft Suede card stock with SNAIL and then to a Rococo Rose card base with SNAIL.

I stamped the panda image from the Wildly Happy stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I used the Dark Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker to add color to the arms, legs and ears of both bears.  I colored over the image with the Color Lifter and then stamped the sentiment from the Wildly Happy stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink under the bears.  I cut the image out with one of the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

I used the straight edge die from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies to cut the top section off and then wrapped a strand of Mossy Meadow Linen Thread (from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack) and tied a bow.  I adhered the die cut panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added three of the 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots around the image to finish the card front.

I stamped the branch image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Soft Suede ink across a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
