Stampin’ Up! Path of Petals for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Path of Petals stamp set bundle and Botanical Bliss stamp set to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and here is what I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

I started by stamping the branch image from the Path of Petals photopolymer stamp set three times in Mossy Meadow ink across the front of a Thick Very Vanilla card base.  Then I started to assemble the flowers using the Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape.  I adhered 6 of the petals together in the center for each flower on my Silicone Craft Mat and then used my Embossing Buddy around the edges of the flowers to remove the stickiness.

I adhered the assembled flowers to the card front and then added Gold Faceted Gems in the center of each one.  I stamped the sentiment from the Botanical Bliss stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Rococo Rose card stock and then cut around it with one of the Petal Labels Dies.

I cut a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with one of the Petal Labels Dies and adhered the die cut sentiment to it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the layered sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the flower images from the Path of Petals stamp set in Mossy Meadow and Rococo Rose inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock to finish the inside of the card.
