I used the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Gleaming stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2019 Holiday Catalog to create a Christmas card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps 210.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by embossing a panel of Old Olive card stock with the Subtle Embossing Folder and then adhering it to the front of an Old Olive card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a panel of Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP (available Sept 4) to a panel of Night of Navy card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.

I cut panels of Whisper White and Pretty Peacock cards stocks with the same Stitched Rectangle Die and then adhered them together with SNAIL so that about 3/4″ of the Pretty Peacock die cut was showing.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the ornament image from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set (available Sept 4) in Night of Navy and Old Olive inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I used the Light Night of Navy and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers and the Dark So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Marker to color the images and then I punched them out with the coordinating Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack (available Sept 4) punch.

I adhered the two Old Olive ornaments with Glue Dots and the Night of Navy ornament with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added two of the Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements (available Sept 4) with Glue Dots.  I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled it with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I snipped the sentiment out and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals before adding a copper Designer Embellishment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and one ornament from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set in Old Olive ink and the other two ornaments in Night of Navy ink on a Whisper White card stock panel on the inside of the card.  I colored the ornaments with the Stampin’ Blends to finish it.
