I used the Stampin’ Up! Wish For It All stamp set bundle to create a fun birthday card to share with you today.  I have lots of family members and friends with birthdays in August and September so I always need a bunch of birthday cards at this time of the year!

The birthday theme for my card was inspired by the Inspire.Create.Challenges #048.

I started by embossing a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Purple Posy card stock with SNAIL.  I cut three candles from Whisper White card stock with the die from the Doily Wishes Dies and then colored one with the Light Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Marker and two with the Dark Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Marker.

I colored the wicks on the candles with the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker and the flames with the Dark So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Marker and then adhered the die cuts to the embossed panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow, then adhered the layered panel to the front of a Purple Posy card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Wish For It All stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with the coordinating Doily Wishes Die.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front, then added three Noble Peacock Rhinestones to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and flower images from the Wish For It All stamp set in Pretty Peacock and So Saffron inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored the dot image with my Purple Posy Stampin’ Write Marker and then stamped it across the sentiment to finish the inside of the card.
