Stampin’ Up! Woven Heirlooms for Fab Friday

I used the Woven Heirlooms stamp set bundle and the Gathered Leaves Dies to create a sympathy card for the Fab Friday color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Fab Friday 172.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

The theme for my card was inspired by Inspire.Create Challenge #051.

I started by stamping the image from the Birch stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I used a Sponge Brayer to lightly roll ink over most of the panel and then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Cajun Craze card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to a Pretty Peacock card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then cut around it with the oval die from the Heirloom Frames Dies.  I embossed the oval frame that was cut with the die with the Heirloom Frames 3D Embossing Folder and then used the Sponge Brayer to add Cajun Craze ink to both oval die cuts.  I adhered the die cut pieces with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.

I cut panels of Mint Macaron, Blackberry Bliss, Pretty Peacock and Cajun Craze card stocks with the leaf dies from the Gather Leaves Dies.  I adhered the die cut leaves to the card front with Glue Dots and then added three gold pearls from the Metallic Pearls pack to finish it.

I stamped the image from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then added a die cut leaf from Pretty Peacock card stock to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies needed to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.

  1. Family has all gone and I’m filling time by catching up on my favorite blogs so just seeing this. I can assure Julie and Karen that the card is prettier in person than in pictures and it did make the recipient feel better. Thank you for sharing. 🤗
