Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars Congratulations Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars stamp set bundle and the Here’s A Card stamp set to create a card for one of my team members (who was also in the top 100 Demonstrators…Yay Mary!!) and I’m sharing it with you today.

My card was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP215.

I started by adhering panels from the Come To Gather DSP to a panel of Mint Macaron card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered a thin strip of Mint Macaron card stock over the seam in the DSP with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then adhered the layered panel to a Pretty Peacock card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of Copper Foil Sheets with one of the Stitched Stars Dies and a panel of White Vellum with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and adhered both die cuts to the card front with Glue Dots (hidden under the star).  I stamped the star image from the So Many Stars stamp set in  VersaMark ink on a panel of Pretty Peacock card stock, sprinkled it with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the image out with the coordinating Stitched Stars Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Here’s A Card stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Mint Macaron card stock and then cut it out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment with SNAIL over the star and then added three Pretty Peacock Rhinestones from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Strong & Beautiful stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added a strip of the Come To Gather DSP to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies needed to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.

  1. It’s so exciting to see your name, Mary’s and Jaimie’s for Center Stage as well as you and Mary being in the top numbers. Have fun this weekend. GDP is going to have a tough time judging and picking!
