I used the Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Plaid stamp set bundle and the Daisy Delight stamp set to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and here is what I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #328.

And the Christmas tree theme for my card was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP219.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Daisy Delight photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Smoky Slate card stock.  I sprinkled the image with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I adhered the stamped panel and a panel of Smoky Slate DSP from the Neutrals 6″ x 6″ DSP to a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with SNAIL.  I wrapped a stand of Gold 1/4″ Shimmer Ribbon around the panel to cover the seam and then adhered the layered panel to a Smoky Slate card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the two tree images from the Perfectly Plaid photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on Whisper White card stock, sprinkled them with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed them.  I punched the trees out with the Pine Tree Punch and then punched a third tree from Gold Foil Sheets.  I adhered two of the trees with Glue Dots to the card front and added the third with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a Gold Glitter Enamel Dot next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the tree images from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.
