I used the fun Stampin’ Up! Best Year stamp set bundle to create a Christmas card to share with you today.  You might notice that the red and green foil papers don’t look familiar…that’s because they’re from the upcoming August-December 2020 Mini Catalog.  Yay!!

I did a video showing you how to create this card on YouTube Live and you can see it here.

I started by cutting a red foil panel from the Red & Green Foil Sheets (available Aug 4) with one of the dies from the Best Plaid Builder Dies.  I trimmed the die cut panel down to 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″.  Then I adhered 1/2″ strips of the Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of green foil from the Red & Green Foil Sheets (I show you how to place them in the video starting at about 6:00) and I cut the foil paper with the other die from the Best Plaid Builder Dies.  I adhered the green foil die cut over the red foil die cut with the Adhesive Sheets and then snipped the excess from the green foil.

I adhered the layered foil sheets to a panel of Sahara Sand card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I wrapped a strand of Whisper White 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around the panel and tied a knot and then adhered the Sahara Sand panel to the front of a Sahara Sand card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped a panel of Whisper White card stock with the sentiment from the Best Year stamp set in Real Red ink and then I cut the sentiment out with one of the label dies from the Hippo & Friend Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and tree from the Perfectly Plaid photopolymer stamp set in Real Red and Shaded Spruce inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
