Stampin’ Up! Fireside Trimmings Fall Birthday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Fireside Trimmings stamp set bundle to create a fall card to share with you today.  I did a video tutorial for making this card on my Facebook page yesterday.  I’ve also uploaded it to my YouTube Channel so you can view it there too!

My card design was inspired by the Fusion Challenge sketch and colors this week:

I started by adhering panels of Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ DSP and In Good Taste DSP to a panel of Crushed Curry card stock and then to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I stamped the pumpkins, vase, branches, leaves, fireplace and clock images from the Fireside Trimmings photopolymer stamp set in Gray Granite ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

I used Light and Dark Gray Granite, Mango Melody, So Saffron and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker Combo Packs to add color to the images.  I also used the Color Lifter to remove some of the color from the pumpkins, vase and fireplace images.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Fireside Dies and then adhered them with Stampin’ Seal and Glue Dots to the card front.  I cut the “mirror” and frame from Silver Foil Sheets and Crumb Cake card stock.  I adhered the pieces together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to the card front with Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Wishes stamp set in Mango Melody ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Hippo & Friends Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Gift Wrapped photopolymer stamp set in Mango Melody ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added a strip of Plaid Tidings DSP to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.
