Stampin’ Up! Tranquil Thoughts CAS Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Basket Of Blooms stamp set and Small Bloom Punch to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by cutting two panels of the Flowers For Every Season DSP (retiring May 3 on sale for 40% off!) with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the two die cut panels with Stampin’ Seal to the Just Jade card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Tranquil Thoughts stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Cinnamon Cider card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut around the sentiment with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added one of the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots (retiring May 3) on the sentiment die cut to finish the card front.

I adhered a panel of Flowers For Every Season DSP to the bottom of a Basic White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.

It was such a quick and easy card to make that I pulled out a few different patterns to make a stack of pretty spring cards!

You can see a list of supplies used to create this project, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.
