I used the Stampin’ Up! Gathered Wheat stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a theme challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

I started by inking the splatter image from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in Sahara Sand ink, stamping it on scrap paper and then stamping it over the front of a Thick Very Vanilla card base.  Then I cut a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and I embossed the die cut with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to another panel of Very Vanilla card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the wheat image from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the stamped image out with the coordinating die from the Wheat Dies.  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut around the sentiment with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with the Wheat Dies and then adhered the die cut pieces with Mini Glue Dots under the sentiment.  I added two Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the wheat image from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock to finish the inside of the card.
