Stampin’ Up! Apple Harvest Friend Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Apple Harvest stamp set and the coordinating Apple Blossoms Dies (that will be available either separately or as a bundle with the stamp set beginning September 1!) to create my card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on my YouTube channel here.

Stampin' Up! Apple Harvest Friend Card

I started by adhering the panel of Gingham Cottage DSP to the right side of a Blushing Bride card base with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with the scalloped die from the Apple Blossoms Dies (available September 1 while supplies last).  I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the single apple image from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock two times and then colored the images with Light and Dark Pappy Parade and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I used the Color Lifter to lighten the images.  Then I cut the images out with the coordinating Apple Blossoms Dies.

Stampin' Up! Apple Harvest Friend Card

I cut panels of Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride and Basic White card stocks with the branch, leaf and flower dies from the Apple Blossoms Dies.  I used a Sponge Dauber to add Blushing Bride ink to the center of each flower and then adhered the die cuts to the card front with Mini Glue Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with the coordinating die from the Apple Blossoms Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added an Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewel to the center of each flower to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Gingham Cottage DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
