I used the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate With Tags stamp set bundle to create a quick birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.

My card design was inspired by CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #487.

I started adhering a panel of Poppy Parade DSP from the Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP pack to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered a panel of Storybook Gnomes DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut another panel of Storybook Gnomes DSP with one of the Celebrations Tag Dies and then pulled a strand of white twine from the Essentials Baker’s Twine pack through the hole and tied a bow.  I adhered the die cut tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  Then I cut a panel of Real Red & White 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper with another one of the Celebrations Tag Dies and I adhered the die cut with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.

I stamped the mitten image from the Celebrate With Tags stamp set twice in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut them out with the coordinating Celebrations Tag Dies.  I adhered the die cuts to the tag with Mini Glue Dots.  I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrate With Tags stamp set in Pacific Point ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Celebrations Tag Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots to the card front and then added one of the Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrate With Tags stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Poppy Parade DSP with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.

World Card Making Day Events – Save The Date, October 1!

INKIN’ KREW WORLD CARD MAKING DAY EVENT – 9 AM ET UNTIL 9 PM ET, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1!

We’re doing it again!!  Our team will be hosting a fun all-day event on Saturday, October 1 for World Card Making Day!  Our event will feature card making presentations live on the event Facebook page as well as some fun giveaways!

Stampin’ Up! is also hosting an event online (see the details here) and we’re scheduling our event so that it runs before and after the Stampin’ Up! event!  Most of us will be using one of the three bundles from the Stampin’ Up! event for our projects so you will come away from the day with tons of ideas for those three bundles!
